There may be a couple of changes in the planned roster of Manchester United as it has become imminent that FC Barcelona centerback Gerard Pique will transfer to Chelsea.

A Metro report said that Pique will snub a return to Manchester since he is eyeing a switch to Chelsea in January. The player was reportedly returning to Manchester in exchange for a big money offer but recent developments reveal that he is now greatly considering being part of Chelsea by next year.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, according to Metro, has already offered £23.6 million (around $37.4 million) to Pique. Barcelona has yet to announce their acceptance of the offer but the team has earlier expressed that they are willing to let Pique go and let a switch happen.

Aside from Pique, Manchester Evening News noted that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will also not return to Manchester but instead will spend the rest of the season on loan with Real Madrid.

A similar Express report said that Hernandez was shipped out to La Liga after Louis Van Gaal moved for Radamel Falcao. It added that Hernandez was hoping to return but it seems like Van Gaal "has no intention of bringing him back to Old Trafford."

Meanwhile, Express also said in a report that Colombian star Radamel Falcao may also not stay with Manchester United after news items revealed that Monaco has offered him to be with Real Madrid.

GiveMeSport said that Monaco is already looking for clubs to sell Falcao after Manchester did not make the loan move permanent. It noted that their first option would be Real Madrid since the club is "strongly linked with a move for the Colombian in the summer transfer window."

The report said that Juventus has also expressed in getting him but they might have a hard time doing so since his estimated asking price is at least £40 million (about $63.4 million).

To make these transfers possible, reports said that Falcao should also strive on his performance so that more teams will gain interest on him.

Aside from these major transfer plans, Express said that United, Arsenal and Chelsea are also hoping to sign German Sami Khedira next summer.

A separate Manchester Evening News noted that Khedira is still considering options since he is still happy with Santiago Bernabeu. The player is expected to become a free agent next summer and he is expected to decide on his move by then.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, on the other hand, is believed to be very interested on Bayer Leverkusen's Christoph Kramer. The player is estimated to cost between £10 - £12m (roughly $15 to over $19 million).

Next year will definitely be an exciting one for the English football with these changes in the roster of the teams and fans will surely be looking forward on how player transfers will affect the performances of the teams involved.
