The eldest son of famous English midfielder David Beckham, Brooklyn, has recently inked with Arsenal until the end of the season and reports claim that there is a plan to extend his contract to a long-term one.

The 15-year-old Beckham, according to an NBC Sports report, has also been eyed by his father's former club Manchester United but it noted that his signing with Arsenal reveals a deep history with the club and his family. It noted that Broolyn's two younger brothers, Romeo and Cruz, have also played and trained for the club.

A Daily Star article said that Brooklyn "impressed coaches at the north London club so much they have snapped him up for the rest of the season." A source from the team added that Beckham's eldest stood out in the training sessions he played.

"He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club. Arsenal realise he can be a huge talent. They have seen that potential and protected their asset. The club has signed him, fending off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea in the meantime. Next summer we may see him sign a big-money deal and with Arsenal," the source added.

Daily Star also said that the Bekhams have a "good relationship" with Arsenal and that the club is impressed with Brooklyn's potential and talent.

If things do not work out as planned for Brooklyn, Independent said that David and wife Victoria still have two more chances left with their two sons.

Romeo, 12, aside from joining Arsenal's under-13 category has also made a name of his own after he recently appeared in an advertisement for Burberry which has earned him a hefty £45,000.

Daily Mail said the rate of Romeo is even higher than other brand ambassadors including Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss.

Burberry Model Jamie Campbell Bower told Daily Mail that other models would find it difficult to match the pay cheque of Beckham's son.

"Romeo has set some hard steps to follow in," Bower added.

The deal was reportedly inked with the aid of former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller who was also behind the success of the Brand Beckham which earned Victoria about £100 million.

Like Romeo, Brooklyn has also been earning through modeling as Daily Mail noted that he appeared in The New York Times Style magazine donning clothing from Prada and Gap.

The Beckham family sure knows how to maintain their status and how to pass on the legacy to the younger ones in the family. Thus, they have been one of the most talked families about not only in Europe but also all around the globe.
