Members of the popular group One Direction have aired their sentiments on the leak of their newest album "Four".

In a report published by MTV, 1D members - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan, sat down with director Ben Winston live on Google. When asked about the unfortunate leak of "Four" before its official release on November 17, the five hotties had some pretty mixed up reactions.

The group answered calmly about the whole thing, but wished that the Directioners (the moniker that 1D fans call themselves) were more patient to wait for the album.

"It's two ways. It's obviously something we've worked really hard on. When it leaks, it's kind of anti-climatic for us. At the same time, they love the stuff that's come out," Payne said, as quoted by MTV.

Horan stated, "It's so close to coming out. You could've waited another week and you could've had the real thing," MTV reported.

Styles, however, know that the Directioners still got their back. According to the British singer, even though the fans listen to the leak, Directioners would still purchase the album in order to add to the band's sales number. Some of the fans may also have refused to listen to the leaked album, like what happened to their previous album, "Midnight Memories", Styles added.

"We're lucky that our fans hear it, and then when it comes out, they want to buy it anyway because they want to support us. It's kind of like when Radiohead put out that album for free and then people went and bought it," Styles explained on the MTV report.

MTV added that the group also announced that they are doing a "sort of 'controlled leak' of their own. Starting tomorrow, those who pre-order the album will get five songs - one a day - before release day."

The "Four" album leak allegedly came from Brazil, J-14 noted. According to the report, a fan uploaded One Direction's upcoming album on Vine. The uploaded songs audio has low quality. J-14 added how the fan went to great length to record the songs, which involved knocking on random people's hotel room doors and sitting outside a room.
