iPhone 6 Philippines Release Date, Specs & Features: Smart & Globe Accepting Pre-orders - Price Comparison and Where to Buy

The Philippines' largest telecommunication networks, Globe Telecom and Smart Communications, are now accepting pre-orders for Apple's latest flagship smartphones -- the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. According to GMA News, the pricing schedules of both companies were revealed on Friday.
The devices will arrive on Nov. 14, wrote Yahoo! News Philippines. Both carriers offer a range of plans for both devices in 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage options.
Smart Communications
iPhone 6
Starting at Plan 999, the 16 GB iPhone 6 requires a monthly fee of ₱800. That makes a total monthly due of ₱1,799.
It must be noted that all cash-outs under Plan 999 yields 0% installment, payable in 24 months through credit card partners BDO, BDO-American Express, BPI, Citibank, Diners Club, EastWest Bank, Metrobank, Security Bank and Unionbank.
Alternatively, the 16 GB iPhone 6 may be bought prepaid for ₱36,700. The 64 GB version retails for ₱42,300. Finally, the 128 GB version is priced at ₱48,000.
iPhone 6 Plus
Smart also offers the iPhone 6 Plus (16 GB) beginning at Plan 999 for a ₱1,050 monthly cash-out - making a total monthly due of ₱2,049 (24-month scheme). For prepaid subscribers, the device retails for ₱42,300.
Meanwhile, the 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus is priced for ₱48,000; the 128 GB version retails for 53,600.

Globe Telecom
iPhone 6
The 16 GB iPhone 6 is offered for ₱37,500 under Globe's Prepaid Kit. From here we can see the company's plan to cost ₱800 above Smart's price tag. The 64 GB version costs ₱43,000; while the 128 GB version is priced at ₱48,500.
Under Plan 1299, Globe offers the 16 GB iPhone 6 for ₱800 cash-out, yielding a monthly commitment of ₱2099 (24-month scheme).
iPhone 6 Plus
The 16 GB iPhone 6 Plus comes at a prepaid offer of ₱43,000 -- ₱700 above Smart's offer. Also prepaid, the 64 GB version retails for ₱48,500, while the 128 GB version comes at ₱54,000.
Under Plan 1299, the 16 GB version requires ₱1,000 cash-out, making a monthly due of ₱2,299 (24-month scheme).

What's With iPhone 6?
The iPhone 6 is Apple's latest smartphone offering. Packed with Retina Display, the flagship is dubbed to be the iPhone in its "largest and thinnest" form. It is powered by 64-bit architecture, A8 chip and M8 motion coprocessor.
The iPhone 6 has a 1334x750 display resolution; 6 Plus has 1920x1080. Among other features include Focus Pixels, Touch ID, Apple Pay and the latest iOS 8 (periodically updated).
The iPhone 6 Plus is slightly larger than the iPhone 6, with screens measuring 5.5 and 4.7 inches, respectively.
