Nike's Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is heading back to the stands this Saturday with the classic Black/White colorway.

With "Classic shoe. Timeless colors." heralding the campaign, Nike is poised to bring the pair of shoes back in everyone's shoe collection, with Nike.com beginning the charge on Nov. 8 at 8 a.m. EST or 5 a.m. PST for $140 a pair.

It will also be available in some Jordan Brand retailers like Sneaker Politics, said Sneaker Bar Detroit. Rock City Kicks will also sell the model, per Nice Kicks.

The colorway was last released in 2008 in Collezione "Countdown," Kicks on Fire said. It comes back with the Nike Air logo, uncommon to retro Jordans, making it even more of a hit, it added.

The comeback was rumoured as early as September this year, per Sole Collector.

Another Kicks on Fire report said the model leads the pack of best releases this year by a brand known for coming out with its greatest in the Holiday season. The Air Jordan Legend Blue and Air Jordan VI Infrared are slated for release later in the year.

The colors cover the shoes evenly, the same report noted, commenting that black and white still is a powerful go-to combo in clothing nowadays.

According to Boombox, the color blocking is as classic as it gets -- the black placed on the heel, toe and lace plate; the white at the top of the toe case, tongue and ankle. The midsole is white and the bottom black.

Saying the Jordan 1 is a money wrench for the Jordan Brand, Sneaker News said the contrast is exceptional.

The base leather is white and the black gives the shoe contrast around it, it explained. The Swoosh branding is also in black and the wing logo finishes off the look, stitched onto the black collar.

The report said Jordans look their best when they are simple, and the model gives fans that assurance.

Echoing that observation, Uproxx described the model as straightforward and no-nonsense. It's a Jordan pair for those seeking non-Chicago Bulls colors, it added.

However, in the Uproxx article's comments section, fans have been discussing the leather material as a thumbs-down.

One commenter said: "... [T]he quality of every single Jordan release has been trash (atleast the ones involving "leather"). People [have] been saying that JB should/might remaster 1s."

John Grotty said: "...[A]ren't they all made from the same type of leather? I've always felt it was pretty thin and low-grade."

But there's no stopping the release date. According to Nike, there's a limit of one pair per customer and the model is not available for phone orders.

Three other shoe models -- Nike Dunk CMFT Premium in Black/Metallic Silver-Sail, Nike Dunk High Premium SB 'Acapulco Gold' in Grain/Black-Sandtrap Bright Mandarin and Nike Air Command Force in White/Black-Wolf Grey-Volt --  will also be sold on the same date, per Nike.com.
