On the latest "Beauty and the Beast," it became clear that being a "beast" can take a serious toll on a person's humanity.

In "Father Knows Best," Vincent (Jay Ryan) only has two targets left before he's free, which is when he believes he will get an unconditional release from Reynolds (Ted Whittall). However, Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) think that Vincent may be Reynolds' last target. Gabe then goes to Cat (Kristin Kreuk) to try to cure Vince's "beastly" condition with the flatline approach.

Before they try and cure him, they want to investigate a test subject, Curt Windsor (Paul Johansson), who is also Vincent's latest target. Curt was supposedly cured, but his beastliness reared its ugly head after being dormant for three years. He eventually lost his mind after his wife's death, and embraced the power of his beastliness to protect his daughter, Tori (Amber Skye Noyes).

Vince confronts Windsor, but in Windsor's rage, he threatens to harm his own daughter. Vincent kidnaps her to keep her safe, and to also possibly lure Windsor to his death. He takes her into the woods and sets up booby traps to trap her father once he comes looking for Tori, who is implanted with a tracking device. Vince then plans on killing Windsor, and has no qualms about doing it.

Cat sees that Vince's humanity is diminishing, so she decides to intervene. She sets up a meeting with Windsor, and gives him an ultimatum to submit to Gabe's experiment, or to say goodbye to his daughter forever. Windsor submits to the experiment.

However, Windsor breaks free of his restraints, and Vince is forced to kill him in a shockingly violent way: he rips Windsor's beating heart right out of his chest.

Cat also met with Reynolds this week, who she recently found out was her biological father. He explains his history with her late mother, and subtly tries to manipulate Cat by telling her that he hopes she'll avoid her mother's proclivity for falling in love with "lost causes." Reynolds knows that Cat is seeing Vincent; however, Cat doesn't know that he is Vince's handler.

At episode's end, Tori returns home after her father's death, and starts to feel a change within herself. When she looks in the mirror, her eyes begin to glow, meaning she is the first female best.

Amber Skye Noyes told TVLine that her character, Tori, was not previously aware of her beastly powers. "She's never seen her eyes glow like that - and it's sort of unclear what triggered it," Noyes said. "That is definitely the first time that she has gone through a change like that." She also said that Tori will go into full beast mode very soon.

On the next episode, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?," Vincent and Cat will celebrate Thanksgiving together.

The synopsis reads: "After Vincent's (Jay Ryan) life is endangered, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) decides they should spend Thanksgiving with her father (guest star Ted Whittall) in order to get information on Vincent's missions. However, when Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and Tori (guest star Amber Skye Noyes) join the festivities, true feelings are revealed and secrets are outed. Meanwhile, J.T. (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) get a surprise while they celebrate Thanksgiving together."
