'Batman vs Superman' Release Date, Cast & Trailer: Holly Hunter Reveals Spoilers on Movie & Role

The role of Academy Award winner Holly Hunter in Zack Snyder's "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" remains unknown, although she has already confirmed that she is one of the cast.
The Wall Street Journal noted that the 56-year-old star has an "unusual" career, as depicted by her versatile role transitions.
In an interview with the outlet, Hunter cited her participation in the upcoming superhero picture. She said, "It was really fun to be part of a giant, massive piece of machinery, headed up by Zack Snyder, who is thoroughly at home in that uber mega environment."
"Most people would have a nervous breakdown with that kind of pressure, and he's [Snyder] enthralled," the "Raising Arizona" star added.
Hunter is part of the cast starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Jeremy Irons, wrote Cinema Blend.
When asked by WSJ why she wanted to do the film, Hunter said it was Snyder who tapped her. "Zack asked me. He came to me with an offer, and I was like, 'Yeah, that would be fun.' It's fun to mix it up," she answered.
Off to the juicy part: Hunter revealed that she had scenes with one of the major characters in the film. She told WSJ, "I have scenes with Superman. He looks phenomenal. And to see Ben and Henry together is quite formidable. They are massive hunks of masculinity."
Hunter's successful career
Hunter has appeared in "The Piano," "Broadcast News," "Saving Grace," "Roe vs Wade" and "The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom," WSJ wrote.
Rotten Tomatoes also noted her participation in "The Incredibles," "Thirteen" and "Top of the Lake."
Hunter's future projects, according to WSJ, include indie film "Manglehorn," an movie by Terrence Malick and of course, Snyder's most-awaited blockbuster superhero franchise.
As for the film's trailer, Batman-on-Film.com sources claimed that it was "complete and ready to go." The insider predicted that it could come out as an attachment to another film, New Line Cinema's "The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies," which will hit the big screen on Dec. 17, 2014.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated for release on Mar. 25, 2016, according to Screen Rant.
