"Grand Theft Auto V" will be sporting first-person mode in its upcoming version for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, according to Mashable. The next-generation version arrives to the Xbox One and PS4 on Nov. 18, while the PC gets it on Jan. 27, 2015.

The first-person mode was announced by Rockstar Games on Tuesday. "GTA V" animation director Rob Nelson hinted via IGN, "It's a very intense, in-your-face experience... literally."

"Obviously, we felt like one of the most compelling things you could do to make an experience people have had before feel different was the new first-person mode," he added.

Gamespot noted Nelson, admitting that Rockstar has always been interested in the incorporation of such mode for "GTA V." But due to technical constraints, the idea did not materialize in the earlier PS3 and Xbox 360.

"I just think it's a different way of experiencing the world. It's a different perspective," Nelson told IGN further. Thanks to the new gaming mode, players can explore Los Santos and Blaine County through their own eyes. Breaking from the traditional third-person mode is clearly an innovation, as the first-person mode is expected to provide a new gaming experience.

It must be noted that the first-person mode is not the only upgrade coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Rockstar Games also revealed that several changes will accompany the shift in perspective.

Fresh features will include a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme and thousands of new animations. Players will be able to switch modes with ease through a single button.

The new "GTA V" will also see "hundreds of additions and enhancements" -- which basically include a 1080p resolution display running at 30 fps (PS4 and Xbox One) and 4K compatible resolution (PC).

In addition, the three platforms will get a new foliage system, vehicles, weapons and more, as reported by Tom's Hardware. The outlet cited the radio to feature 17 stations with over 100 fresh tracks.

Developed by Rockstar North, "GTA V" features the struggling metropolis of Los Santos, the countryside Blaine County and three distinct criminals. Street hustler Franklin, professional ex-convict Michael and violent maniac Trevor make up the storyline's leads. Although they are obviously different in their own right, they are known to comfortably work as a team.

"GTA V" also provides the characters recreational activities such as golf, tennis, yoga, cycling, sky parachuting and so much more.
