The long wait for the Galaxy Note Edge is over.

Samsung will be releasing its newest curved-display smartphone in the U.S. on Nov. 14, wrote Time. The device will be available in America's five largest network carriers: AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular.

The Korean tech giant has morphed mobile into avant-garde fashion through Edge's "functional" curved screen, situated at the device's righthand edge.

But innovation comes at an expense, and Edge is no exception. According to Computer World, AT&T has announced on Monday that Edge will be priced at $399.99 for a two-year contract. Alternatively, the device may be paid with no annual obligation for $945.99.

The Edge will be displayed at selected AT&T retail stores nationwide, beginning Nov. 7. The company prides in being first to launch the Samsung Note series in the U.S.

On Nov. 14, Sprint will be offering Edge at zero downpayment for $35 a month in 24 months -- a total of $840.

Edge will be available in T-Mobile for $36.25 a month in 24 months, according to TechRadar -- that's $870. The device arrives on Nov. 14.

Verizon has not yet announced details on its pricing options, although prospects may sign up here to receive updates.

As for U.S. Cellular, TechRadar noted a company spokesperson who confirmed that Edge will come "after the holidays."

An unusually-designed smartphone priced nearly a thousand bucks may be expensive. But to determine if such cost is worth it, it's best to know first what Edge is all about.

First, Edge is undeniably unique -- no other smartphone sports such revolutionary design in terms of display. The Edge screen will allow access to frequently used apps in a thumb's swipe, even if the device has its case closed.

The Edge screen will also function as a recipient of notifications, without disturbing the user's activity in the main screen. This allows focus with "very minimal interruption."

Edge includes a 5.6-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, up to 128 GB microSD support, 16 MP rear camera with Smart OIS, 3.7 mp front camera, 3000mAh fast-charging battery, S Pen and a 2.7 GHz quad core processor. It operates under Android 4.4 KitKat.

The S Pen allows free selection of text and content on any screen. With Photo Note, the stylus may be used to edit notes, change colors and place additional memos.

Sensors include gesture, accelerometer, geo-magnetic, gyroscope, RGB ambient light, proximity, barometer, hall sensor, finger scanner, UV and HRM.
