Estonia and Azerbaijan will face off in an international friendly on Friday.

Both teams were eliminated from World Cup contention and finished near the bottom of their respective groups. In the case of Estonia the team finished seventh in a group that included the likes of Netherlands, Romania, Hungary, Turkey and Andorra. The team finished with two wins, one draw and seven losses and only scored six times and conceded 20 goals. The team lost 2-0 against Romania in its first World Cup qualifier before losing 3-0 in Turkey. Hungary took the team down 1-0 in the following game but Estonia took down Andorra in the fourth match of the group stage. The team then lost 3-0 against the Dutch but regained composure with a 2-0 win over Andorra. The ensuing one was a tremendous boost for the nation as it was seconds away from defeating Netherland 2-1 at home; a late Robin Van Persie tally knotted the score up at two. Estonia suffered a 5-1 humiliation in Hungary before losing 2-0 against Turkey. The final match was a 2-0 loss against Romania.

Azerbaijan played in a group with Portugal, Russia, Israel, Luxembourg and Northern Ireland. Azerbaijan had one win, six draws and three losses in 10 games and only managed to score seven goals; the team conceded 11 times.

Prediction: Expect a fast-paced game with lots of goal. It will finish 3-3.
