ESPN and Fox Sports have emerged as the front runners to sign a new rights deal with Major League Soccer (MLS) and U.S. national team home game World Qualifiers broadcast rights after NBC Sports pulled out of the bidding process, according to SportsBusinessDaily.com. The new agreement could be a huge addition for Fox Sports, who also has the English-language broadcast rights to the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup.
