Drake & Nicki Minaj Dating? The Truth in New Song 'Only' Feat. Lil Wayne, Chris Brown: Listen, Download, Lyrics & Watch Racy Video
Anacondas can take their break now.
Titled "Only," Nicki Minaj's new song is undoubtedly a musical franchise. Featuring the most popular rappers Drake, Lil Wayne and R&B singer Chris Brown, the song maintains the hip-hop vibe the "Pink Friday" artist is known for.
Accompanied by a spooky-sounding instrumental, Nicki's traditional explicit lyrics are still there -- although a clean version is also out. The song was released on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Listeners will have to prepare to hear the jaw-dropping first lines -- "I never f**ked Wayne, I never f**ked Drake, all my life man f**k sake... If I did I would ménage with 'em and let them eat my a** like a cupcake."
That basically clears Nicki's relationship with both rappers.
The song made Nicki appear as if she always needed a man, Buzzle commented. It seems ironic as she had always been known as a feminist.
According to Hollywood Life, "Only" is Nicki's and Drake's first collaborative single, although allegedly, they have been flirting for years. The outlet reported that the song is part of Nicki's upcoming album, "The Pinkprint," slated for release on Nov. 24.
Persistent rumors about Nicki, Drake
Drake's cameo appearance in recent hit "Anaconda" must not be understated, as Nicki seemed to enjoy lap dancing above him. But, what's the real score?
Back in 2013, Drake clarified via MTV that his relationship with Nicki is "different." His words in "Tuscan Leather" dropped, "Not even talkin' to Nicki, communication is breakin'... I dropped the ball on some personal sh*t, I need to embrace it."
But that was a thing of the past, and well, they are label-mates. But why can't they take it to the next level?
It appears Nicki likes Drake that much. Earlier in August, Christian Post wrote that magazines claimed Nicki and "Diamonds" songstress Rihanna were feuding - with Drake in the middle.
According to the report, Nicki wasn't very happy with the way Rihanna treated Drake. The outlet cited an untitled interview where Nicki reportedly revealed, "One day, I will run away with Drake and get married, but right now it's just a fantasy."
Now that's quite a statement.
Prior to the launch of her new album, Nicki is set to host the Nov. 9 MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow. Visit Nicki Minaj's official web site here.
