Jennifer Lawrence Nude Photo Scandal: Nicholas Hoult Responds to Naked Images
Jennifer Lawrence recently spoke out about the "sex crime" done to her and other celebrities when their personal, intimate photos were hacked and shared online.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence said, "I don't have anything to say I'm sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he's going to look at you."
With "The Hunger Games" star at the center of the scandal, "X-Men" co-star and ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, whom the photos were believed to be intended for, has responded to the incident.
According to the Huffington Post, during a segment on "Good Day New York," Hoult, was being interviewed by Rosanna Scotto on his new movie, "Young Ones," when the topic was changed to Lawrence's present ordeal.
Scotto asked: "Speaking of friends: Jennifer Lawrence, she's been making a lot of news lately because of those pictures that were hacked. And I think they might have been pictures that were sent to you. I was just wondering if you have any comment at all. I know she talked about the people who downloaded them were basically sex offenders. I was wondering how you felt about that?"
Hoult's response was, "It's shocking that things like that happen in the world. It's a shame."
Hoult and Lawrence, both 24, started dating after filming "X-Men: First Class" in 2011, and they were together for about three years, wrote Mail Online.
The pair broke up in 2012 only to get back together in 2013 but is now believed to have once again ended their relationship.
Lawrence is now linked to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 37, the ex-husband of Hollywood A-lister, Gwyneth Paltrow, while Hoult is romantically linked to "Equals" co-star, Kristen Stewart, 24.
Wendy Williams Mocks Lawrence on Her Show
Wendy Williams is another public figure who has openly talked about Lawrence's nude photo leak.
US Magazine noted how the talk show host admitted that she looked at the "American Hustle" star's nude photos and she seemed to be unsympathetic to the situation.
Responding to the actress's statement that the nude photo leak was a "sexual offense," Williams said, "Jennifer Lawrence, you wanna know what? Don't sweat this, young lady. I mean, you're the one who took the pictures."
Citing that Lawrence looks pretty good in the photos, Williams believes that the whole incident may have made her an even bigger star.
"Cause she was red hot before but now it's like heat-seeking missile hot. So hold your head up with pride!" Williams said.
