'Fast and Furious 7' Cast, Release Date & Plot: Trailer Will 'Shock the World', Says Tyrese Gibson
The newest installment of blockbuster franchise "Fast and the Furious 7" is about to give the world a sneak peek. Singer-turned-actor Tyrese Gibson boldly announced that the film and trailer, due out November 1, will "shock the world."
In an emotional post over his Facebook account, the singer shared a snap of himself with fallen co-star Paul Walker.
"This photo was taken in Nobu in Vegas - seems like yesterday!! I was in Vegas recently and walked by that exact booth and had a moment I almost cried..... We were so happy that day just being silly and talking about sexy girls," recalled the star.
He continued by giving fans something to look forward to: "Fast & Furious fans worldwide .... The new Fast7 trailer is gonna drop Nov 1st we did this in Paul's honor.:"
Gibson then declared: "This movie is going to shock the world....."
Many fans commented on the post with kind and warm words. One member wrote as a comment: "2 brothers forever. Seems like yesterday Paul left us," while another wrote, "R.I.P Paul Walker Tyrese remember your the best friend this guy ever had and will always be that no matter where he is in heaven!!"
The popular testosterone-driven film series is set to take off where the last film, "Fast and Furious 6" left off, wrote Enstarz.
It is believed that as a tribute to the franchise's lead character which Walker portrayed, Brian O'Conner will not be killed in the movie, wrote The Hollywood Reporter.
The site noted that the studio heads are going to "retire" the character and make use of the footage they were able to shoot. "The trio [director James Wan, writer Chris Morgan and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum] then devised a plan to tweak the existing script so that Walker would remain a part of the story but could be written out, allowing the franchise to continue without him," reported the entertainment site.
Along with his co-stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster, the crew will hit the silver screen, sans Walker, on April 3, 2015.
Walker died unexpectedly on Nov. 30, 2013, when he was involved in a vehicular accident. During the time of his death, filming for the seventh film was on-going and he was said to have been able to film about half the movie.
To complete the project, the studio enlisted the help of his bothers, Caleb and Cody, to stand in as the actor's body doubles.
Keep an eye out for the movie's trailer which drops in three weeks.
