'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Trailer & Cast: Prince William Curious About the Erotic Book
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, has shown interest in "Fifty Shades of Grey," an erotic trilogy that has taken the world by storm.
According to Entertainment Wise, the 32-year-old British Royalty encountered fellow Brit and novelist Kelly Vero during a visit in Malta.
The author told Mail Online: "William asked me about my novel Summer Girl and if it was racy. I said 'Do you mean like 50 Shades?' "He said 'Oh should I read it?' And I said certainly not."
"We don't need another baby do we?" Kelly quipped to the Prince.
Well, it's all water under the bridge because whether or not E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" books had anything to do with it, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is with child.
Announced earlier this month, Prince William and his wife, Kate, are expecting baby number two--following son, Prince George, who is a year old.
While in Malta, William spoke about his wife's condition. Apologizing for her absence he joked, "I'm sorry you've got me instead of Catherine," quoted Yahoo! UK. "She's very disappointed she couldn't be here today."
He shared that Middleton was feeling "so-so" and explained that the hot weather caused Kate, who is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (acute morning sickness) to back out of the trip on doctor's orders.
He didn't only joke about his appearance, he spoke about his son George's high energy when President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca said how she'd love to see his children visit.
"Malta might not survive baby George," he said via Yahoo!. "There's too many precious things around here."
"You can come and do some babysitting for me," William jested to a University student studying childcare. "He's busy. They're very hectic at that age."
The blessed news of the pregnancy was confirmed Sept. 8 with Clarence House staying in an official statement:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news. As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace."
The two-day visit to Malta was supposed to be Kate's first official solo overseas trip.
In any case, for the royal couple or fans who are interested, the film, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, is due out Valentine's Day 2015. See the official trailer of the flick below.
