'America's Got Talent' 2014 Season 9 Finals Recap: Who'll be the Winner?
Save the best for last! The remaining six finalists of "America's Got Talent Season 9" have battled live one more time. Each contestant presented two shows: a previous performance and a brand new act.
As the 2014 reality show approaches its finale the pressure gets definitely stronger among performers who have also become fiercer.
As the results come Sept. 17, bets are now placed across America as to who's really got the talent.
According to Gold Derby, the order of contestants who'll most likely get the top spot is as below.
1. Mat Franco - 11/10
2. Emily West - 3/2
3. Quintavious Johnson - 11/1
4. Sons Of Serendip - 12/1
5. Miguel Dakota - 12/1
6. AcroArmy - 18/1
It looks like Matt Franco's in the lead. Emily West is forecasted to win second place; Quintavious Johnson at third place; AcroArmy at fourth place; Sons Of Serendip at fifth place and Miguel Dakota at sixth place, Gold Derby added.
Hollywood Life reported of each performance--detailing how "America's Got Talent" season 9 contestants took the stage.
Quintavious Johnson did a repeat of Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind." He was noted to be a "true entertainer" by Heidi Klum. For his new act, the 12-year-old sang The Beatles' "Let It Be." Howie Mandel commented, "America cannot let it be, they need to vote!"
Mat Franco remade an act he did during his audition. He engaged his audience for his final act, like he always did. Mel B said, "I have to say, every time you shock me!"
Emily sung her version of Sia's "Chandelier." Howard Stern noted it to be a "winning performance." Her final song was "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack. Heidi said, "I wish you good luck!"
Miguel Dakota repeated The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army." He was observed to be feeling pressured, but he surprised everybody in his second performance of "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson. Howard commented, "I think it was your strongest performance and I liked it."
Sons of Serendip did Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" and received positive praises. Mel B even assured, "America loves you, I love you, they have to vote for you!" Their final act was "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence.
AcroArmy did "The Immortals" once again and got Heidi's support, "You really deserve to win this thing." Their final act was "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark" by Fall Out Boy, after which they received a standing ovation from all four judges.
