iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to Launch Sept. 19, $199 and $299 on 2-year Contract, Pre-Order Sept. 12
Apple announced it's new iPhone 6 today. The phone will come in two models, the iPhone 6 and the larger iPhone 6 Plus. The new phones offer a host of new features and innovations in both their build and in terms of their software on board.
New Features
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will both be thinner than all previous iPhones. The iPhone 5S was 7.6 mm think for reference. The iPhone 6 is 6.9 mm thin, and the iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1 mm thin. The 6 Plus also has other benefits out of the box and a different UI based on its larger screen. In messaging you can see the avatars of your contacts in your inbox, and also when the phone is in landscape mode, Apple has included what it calls a "two-up" display where you have 2 panes within your email or messaging apps.
In order to help users navigate these larger screens with one hand, Apple has included a feature that moves the top of the screen down simply buy users double-tapping the home button.

Pricing & Release Info
There are no real suprises here. Apple has pretty much stuck with the same pricing model as in years past.
The iPhone 6 on-contract price is $199 for 16GB of storage, $299 for 64GB and $399 for 128GB.
The iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 for 16GB, $399 for 64GB and $499 for 128GB.
Apple also confirmed the phones will ship on Sept. 19. Pre-orders will begin on Sept. 12. Apple also promised these phones will be available in 115 countries "by end of 2014."
