James Rodriguez Models for Colombian Underwear Brand; See Sizzling Hot Photos Here
Move over, David Beckham!
James Rodriguez is the latest football player to become an underwear model. The Real Madrid midfielder inked a $100 million contract with the club but that doesn't mean he can't make money without having to play ball.
According to Colombia Reports, Rodriguez is the "new face" of Colombian underwear brand "Bronzini Black." The football player even has a line dedicated to him called "J10 James."
Fox News Latino stated, per El Tiempo newspaper, that the Real Madrid star had 2,000 snaps taken during the photo shoot. The Bronzini Black shoot was reportedly held in Medellin and lasted almost five hours, added the outlet.
The resulting images will leave viewers "hot and bothered," described Latin Times. 15 super sexy shots of the football player show off boxers, briefs, shirts, tank tops and other clothing items. More importantly, the photos show Rodriguez' great body - in full body shots and close-ups.
It seems that Bronzini Black didn't only choose the football player based on his Colombian nationality.
"We chose James Rodriguez to be the face of Bronzini Black because he is a man of style, with confidence in himself, and is surprising at all times," said Martin Nova, marketing vice-president for the Exito Group, as quoted by Colombia Reports.
The young athlete was the talk of the town during FIFA World Cup 2014. He was awarded the Golden Boot for being the top scorer during the tournament - making 6 goals out of 5 games.
"I am delighted to receive this award in the name of my family and my Colombia teammates who were by my side every step of the way. To finish the World Cup as maximum goalscorer is a great achievement", Soccerly quoted Rodriguez as saying.
Though the award is a great achievement, the Colombian phenom isn't only making impact in the world of football. The Colombian community in all parts of the world is also moved by Rodriguez.
He's showing that Colombians can make their way in the world and become the very best at anything," the National Post quotes Freddy Upegui, a Colombian moving truck driver in Spain who now sells snacks to make money.
According to the outlet, Rodriguez "is a symbol of a newly confident Colombia" and an inspiration for his country which underwent an economic slump.
