'The Flash' CW TV Series 2014 Release Date, Plot & Trailer: 'The Future Begins' Teaser Revealed
Before everyone gets a taste of the TV series' pilot episode, the showrunners release a teaser that features the various characters Barry Allen will encounter.
The short trailer features an unwary young man, played by Grant Gustin, who was chosen to become the speedy superhero. The latest clip teases how his pals will eventually support him in accepting the call to become a hero that defies physics.
According to Screenrant, "The Flash" trailer also gives a preview on the cast of characters to be expected on the show including the cameo appearance of "Arrow" star Stephen Amell on the pilot episode.
Other cast members include Clancy Brown as The General, Kelly Frye as Plastique and Greg Finley as the Girder. It was also recently reported that Amell's cousin Robbie Amell will portray the role of Firestorm: The Nuclear Man.
The show also stars Patrick Sabongui, Michelle Harrison, John Wesley Shipp, Carlos Valdes, Candica Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett, and Jesse L. Martin.
"The Flash" TV series' latest trailer also offers a glimpse on the type of metahuman carnage the fastest man alive will face which includes Weather Wizard.
It reveals how Barry will have to first face a great deal of tornadoes since the initial villain is someone who has control over the weather. A tornado is deemed a staple of almost every Flash origin story, reported Den of Geek.
"The Flash" is one of CW's addition to the already expanding DC universe on television format. The series is developed by Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti.
"The Flash" and "Arrow" have been quick in the process of expanding through the concept of a shared universe. It is not clear though how "Arrow" will be related to the idea of a metahuman future but fans can certainly expect a huge crossover happening between the two shows.
Fans of the other show, however, can also look forward to a new iconic foe that the famous vigilante of Starling City will have to face for season three.
With already a lot of metahuman villains lined up for "The Flash," it leaves many wondering how much more CW is planning to do for the fast superhero aside from the idea of making two parallel series.
"The Flash" telease date is set to happen on October 7, 2014 on The CW network at 8pm.
