'Jurassic World' Release Date, Plot & Trailer: Chris Pratt Says Film Will be 'So Good'
After his stellar inter-galactic performance in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," actor Chris Pratt is venturing into another major project, "Jurassic World."
Director Colin Trevorrow has announced on Twitter that the production of the film has officially finished and speaking of the work they did, Chris Pratt had only great things to say about the movie.
During an interview with Collider via Fashion & Style, Chris was pumped about the movie. "Oh man, I just wrapped on it two days ago," said the 35-year-old actor.
"They're still working for another few weeks. It is going to knock your socks off. It's gonna be so awesome, so awesome. And to the long time fans of the franchise, it is in good hands. Colin is a huge fan, he is gonna deliver a movie that is worthy of the brand and I swear to you it is just gonna be so good I already know it. I can tell."
This isn't the only time he's raved about "Jurassic World." In an earlier interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Pratt was also kind enough to give audiences some details on the film. The film takes place 22 years after the events of "Jurassic Park."
Pratt continued to share saying, "People from around the world, 20,000 visitors a day, come to see the dinosaurs and see the several attractions."
"It's been around long enough to where attendance starts to fall off a little bit. So they've decided to come up with a new attraction to bring even more people in. You're never gonna believe it, but it doesn't go well," he continued.
Pratt has been consistent with his comments about the fourth installment of the franchise. During the 2014 San Diego Comic Con, Pratt spoke to Total Film via Christian Today and said he was excited to bring the park back to life.
The "Parks and Recreation" actor shared that being in the movie is surreal because he grew up watching "Jurassic Park."
"Oh, I'm a huge fan. HUGE fan. One of my very most influential movies as a kid was Jurassic. It is pretty surreal, but it's kind of been the theme recently I think, like these moments that are very surreal are becoming real, and now I'm not just a fan of the franchise, I'm a peer of its artistic creators, you know? And that feels really good."
A trailer is expected to be released soon. Pratt is joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Jake Johnson, and Omar Sy, to name a few, in "Jurassic World." The film is due to be released in cinemas on June 12, 2015.
