iPhone 6 & iPads With Larger Screen Displays Coming in 2014? Latest Rumors

By Staff Reporter| Oct 08, 2013

Apple is set to release the iPhone 6 and bigger iPads next year, according to a report of GottaBeMobile.

The report cited ETNews claiming that Apple is planning to include new screen technology in its upcoming products. ETNews attributed an industry source saying that Apple will apply a new display to almost all its products.

This supports the rumors of the iPhone 6 with larger screen display of six inches. Some reports state that Apple is testing on screen displays with the range of 4.8 to 6 inches in size.

Meanwhile, other rumors claim that the iPhone 6 will pack a 5-inch screen to catch up with the smartphones in the market. This is also parallel with the claims of some analysts.

The release date of what would become the next generation iPhone iteration is rumored to happen in the first quarter of next year, most probably in March. Apple recently released its slew of smartphones but to the dismay of many consumers it sports the same 4-inch screen display.

According to rumors, iPhone 6 features may include a 5-inch Full HD screen display; 64-bit A7 processor; M7 GPU chip; fingerprint sensor; Near Field Communication; larger internal storage of up to 128GB and iOS7.

Larger iPads are also in the works, rumors suggest. Consumers may see an iPad with 12 to 13 inches screen display. Some reports said that this tablet variant guns for the education and business sectors.

For quite some time, Apple has been trying to widen its reach in both sectors. The iPad 4 with boosted storage of up to 128GB is aimed to accommodate users who need more storage space. Both sectors will benefit from a larger screen display.

On a side note, the next generation of full-fledged iPad and iPad Minis is coming this month. However, the specs and features of these new iPads are still undisclosed.
