Rumors claimed that iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 release date will happen on October 15, alongside other Apple products. OS X Mavericks and MacBook Pro 2013 are the products speculated to join the new iPads in the launch.
The October iPad release date coincides with the prediction of KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo who said in his latest note through MacRumors that the next generation of iPad tablets will arrive on the fourth quarter of this year. Kuo further said that full scale mass production of the iPad 5 will commence on the said quarter.
Based on the rumors, the 10-inch iPad 5 will include features like 64-bit A7 processor chip and M7 GPU chip; fingerprint sensor; 5MP rear shooter; and internal storage up to 128GB. All of these features are all housed in a thinner body and slimmer bezel just like iPad Mini.
Meanwhile, the next generation of iPad Mini will retain its 7.9 inches screen display. It will also feature the 64-bit A7 processor and fingerprint sensor like the iPhone 5S. Prices of the iPads are speculated to follow the pricing strategy of their predecessors.
However, Cupertino-based tech giant remained tight-lipped on the details of its iPad tablets.
