Jeremy Lin News: J-Lin Dunks on Mom & Friends [Video]
New Los Angeles Lakers star Jeremy Lin showcases Linsanity fever again in an Internet video showing him dunking on his friends and even on his own mom.
On his Instagram page, Lin posted a video of him doing the "dunk on someone" prank. According to ESPN, Lin showed his basketball dunking skills and said that he is "taking no prisoners" which according to ESPN will not excuse anyone, including his mom.
Lin posted the now viral video with the caption "Day 3 of Fan Appreciation Week! Who can come up with the best #JLinDunkCam video?!? All submissions will be judged on creativity, execution and post-dunk celebration lol. You MUST use #JLinDunkCam so we can find the video and post by midnight pst today. PLEASE be safe! My video will give you guys a few ideas (no need to use a real mini-bball/hoop...all props work too) #JLinDunkCam #sorrymom #takenoprisoners"
The video showed Lin dunking on a lady just walking along the side street, his sleeping friend and his mom who has just gotten food from the refrigerator.
According to DeadSpin, this is what Lin has been doing off season but the report noted that despite his antics, the public needs to respect the fact that he enjoys the summer like a teenager.
Prior to his transfer to Los Angeles, Lin has already been famous and even has a global following called Linsanity. But in a report by Daily News, Lin said that he will not bring Linsanity from the Houston Rockets to the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I'm not trying to relive that banner season. I'm not trying to be that phenomenon that happened in New York. I just want to be myself," Lin said noting that he will maintain his "attack mode" for the Lakers.
Daily News noted that the Lakers could use Lin's point guard reinforcement since Steve Nash has been suffering from recurring back injuries which had already limited him to only 15 games last season.
"I obviously believe I can start for an NBA team and help that team win. I would obviously love to, but that's not me coming in saying, 'I need this or need that,"' he told Daily News.
The American-born player with Taiwanese descent has already pulled a huge following for his new team after he closed the deal.
Daily News said that Lin's addition will be more exciting since he will be playing with Lakers star player Kobe Bryant. The two reportedly exchanged text messages and have had a few conversation after the trade.
"Kobe, anybody who wins as much as he does, definitely has the mental edge on eveybody else," Lin said. "That's something I would love to learn."
