Chrissy Teigen 'Pretty Drunk' During Dodgers vs Angels First Pitch

Chrissy Teigen had all eyes on her when she threw the ceremonial first pitch at a baseball game in Los Angeles, and she delivered.

She stole the show, said News.com.au. She nailed the first pitch. However, one for the history books is her admission that she was intoxicated that night.

She can be company for David Wells at pitching while under the influence, the New York Daily News said. Wells, had two stints with the Yankees and admitted in his autobiography that he was "half drunk" when he had a perfect game in 1998.

John Legend's wife tweeted that she was "pretty drunk" when she threw the ball at the Dodgers Stadium Tuesday, in a Dodgers game against the Angels, the report said, adding that there was a party going on for her birthday.

The admission was followed by the tweet: "My mom is bombed." Then she posted a Vine video while practicing for her first pitch duties.

Yahoo Sports reported that she managed to blow the screen a kiss before she jogged to the mound, where she adjusted her super-short shorts.

It was not a strike but it did not compare to the 50 Cent performance, the report said. It was a way-out pitch for 50 Cent with his first pitch at a New York Mets game in May and for President Barrack Obama when he opened a Washington Nationals game in 2010, Los Angeles Times said.

It was enough for the model to celebrate with a big hug for the Dodger's Drew Butera, Yahoo Sports addedShe also hugged a female fan and then rolled around on the field with her, the Los Angeles Times said.

She had her dad coach her on the proper way to throw, an Instagram post revealed, the report added. She "pretty much" got the target and "looked hot," the paper said.

Why the 40 Nugz? "Forty nuggets at McDonalds is my favorite junk food," she told the crowd, as quoted by Los Angeles Times. "My husband gave me the name 40 Nugz as my drunken rapper name.

The Dodgers won that night with the ninth inning by Andre Ethier, Sporting News reported. Every team in Major League Baseball should call Teigen to do the first pitch, Complex.com said. Perhaps that was the good luck charm.

The pitch was far from perfect, it said. But to quote Legend, it was "perfect imperfection."
