Rihanna & Drake Dating Rumors: Rapper Shows RiRi as 'The Devil' in Concert
From being Drake's #1 love, Rihanna has dropped to a lowly and satanic 666.
During the hometown concert of actor-turned-rapper Drake in Toronto on Aug. 4, Drake blasted his rumored ex-girlfriend while performing the song, " Days of East."
While on stage for his set at the OVO Fest, the singer reportedly flashed images of a fire-clad RiRi on the big screen with three flaming sixes displayed at the background. As the music played, a "6" flashed on screen followed by an alleged image of Rihanna and the pattern happened three times, creating a "666", which is the trio number associated with evil and Satan.
Rihanna Thinks 'It's pathetic'
According to HollywoodLife.com, Rihanna knows about what happened and she isn't happy. A source close to the singer tells the publication: "It's pathetic. A real man would just come out and be like ‘I don't like you.'"
"Not this indirect type of bullsh*t. It's real pathetic and flattering at the same time, though," continued the insider.
That's not all, the Barbadian thinks that Drake is using her fame to make headlines. "This isn't the first time he has tried to use her to hype his show, or to be written about in the press. If he wants to be about his money, then be about it. But don't use a woman just so you can be in the papers or get attention for your concert or for a skit you're doing on TV. That's beyond lame, especially when you aren't breaking her off," said the HL source.
Apparently, Rihanna has lost respect for the rapper because he didn't have the guts to flat out say what he wanted to say and he's resorted to these lame antics. The insider explained that the "Cheers" singer didn't really do anything to deserve the hatred. They suggest Drake just wasn't man enough to be with her and put her down in the end by resorting to negative labeling.
Many audience members quickly understood Drake's not-so-subtle message and shared the photos they took online. Below is a collage of photos of an Instagram user from the concert:
The pair were rumored to be dating on-and-off over a span of a few years but it seems it did NOT end well and that's it for their love affair.
"He [Drake] gave his whole heart to Rihanna and he feels she stomped on it," said a source to Heat magazine via Hollywoodtake.com."He told Rihanna's best friend, Melissa Forde, that Rihanna should forget his face, forget his number and never call or come crying when she's hurt or lonely."
This may signal that Drake is cutting ties and moving on from his painful relationship. Maybe this is why he's made amends with former rival, Chris Brown, the ex-boyfriend of Rihanna. The two were in the recording studio together seemingly having buried the hatchet.
