LeBron James & Kevin Love Wear Cleveland Cavaliers Jerseys in Fan Tattoo
A basketball fan got a tattoo, and not just an ordinary one.
On August 3, a Twitter post by fan, Nick Grossman, proved how much of a die hard Cleveland Cavalier fan he is when he showed off tattoos of both Kevin Love and LeBron James, donning Cleveland Cavaliers jerseys, on his shoulder blades, Yahoo Sports reported.
It would strike some as a very bad idea since Love has not signed a deal with the Cavs yet. The good news is, those are just henna tattoos, per ESPN.
With the report saying Grossman just could not wait for a real, not planned or rumored, Kevin Love trade, he decided to enter a tattoo shop Sunday evening. Voila, he had both the Minnesota Timberwolves forward and Cavaliers powerhouse on his back.
The 16-year-old told ESPN he was strolling along the Virginia Beach boardwalk when he decided to get the henna tattoos at a nearby shop-- he spent 30 minutes of his life and 60 bucks.
"I asked if they could put LeBron and Love in Cavs jerseys instead and they said they could if I showed them what the jersey looked like," Grossman said, as quoted by the report.
"It lasts up to a month," Grossman told the report, "so it still should be on by the time Love gets traded to Cleveland." He is from Virginia but has always been a Cavs believer.
Love might end up like a Chris Bosh according to FanSided. He might also come last in sequencing if the supposed version of the Big 3 comes together.
Love might take his "third wheel" situation to James and Kyrie Irving more personally, the report added. The move would likely test the waters for his career path and still get attention from the whole United States.
In an ESPN Radio report quoted by the Denver Post, it was said that the Timberwolves underwent a "handshake deal," already fulfilling Grossman's wish.
"The deal is done but not done," ESPN's Brian Windhorst said, as quoted by the report. "The teams have agreed, but they can't say they have agreed and they can't agree because we're in this weird moratorium period."
In 19 days, he said, anything could happen, but "before the papers have been signed, there is a handshake agreement: Kevin Love to the Cavs, Andrew Wiggins to the Timberwolves."
The decision will unfold in the next weeks, Yahoo Sports said, and everyone will forget about the things that happenned soon after.
