Master Chef To Do Casting Calls In Houston On Oct 12
For those Houstonians aiming to be a part of the hit reality cooking show of Fox, the Master Chef is all set to open casting call auditions in Houston, Texas this coming Oct 12.
Houston Chronicle recalls how the show’s hosts Graham Elliot, Joe Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay all shed tears of joy when they declared the blind home cook of Houston Christine Ha as Master Chef Season 3 winner last September 2012. It was also just last August of this year when another Houstonian by the name of James Nelson reached the final five before bidding goodbye due to a failed panna cotta.
Hence, it should not be surprising for most for the show to open its audition doors by next month in the popular town of Texas to make its Season 5 show a lot more interesting.
The Master Chef title comes with big prizes that go just beyond having something to brag about. Previous winners were able to take home a total of $250,000 along with a deal to have your own cookbook produced. Moreover, the Fox show gets viewed by about 6 million audiences every week.
On the other hand, Central Florida auditions will be held at the Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando on Oct 12 too. Audition time will be from 10 am to 6 pm according to Orlando Sentinel. Participants must bring one dish for the judges. Auditionees are expected to plate their dish for just several minutes at the actual casting call place but there won’t be any kitchen space to warm up the prepared dish.
Master Chef stars award winning chef Gordon Ramsay who is also known for being super strict when it comes to handling his trainees. Contestants go through various elimination rounds as process in building up an amateur cook into becoming a “culinary master.”
