'Star Wars Episode 7' Release Date, Cast & News: Plot Details Leaked [Spoiler]
The secretive production of the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" may have just let some plot details slip through their fingers. New reports on the film has been leaked by Badass Digest that include bits of information on the movie's intro text crawl along with storyline and characters.
The site writes the following on the "Star Wars: Episode VII" plot:
"Imagine the standard 'Star Wars' crawl, and when it ends the camera pans up to the stars. But instead of a spaceship zooming into frame we see... a hand! A severed hand, tumbling through space. A severed hand gripping a light saber.
That hand falls onto a desert planet, where it is discovered by characters who will be our heroes. One is Daisy Ridley. The other is John Boyega, who is playing someone trying to change his path in life (again, I'm keeping it vague here). They recognize the light saber as a Jedi relic and decide to return it to the proper people."
With regards to the journey that the stars will take, the characters will then work into having a rendezvous with original characters Hans Solo and Chewbacca who was only revealed to no longer be cruising around the galaxy in the legendary Millennium Falcon. Parallel to the search for Skywalker, a devious plan simmers which can destroy entire solar systems.
Not that much is known about the long-awaited sequel to the popular six volume franchise that released its last film back in 2005, "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith".
According to Cinema Blend, "Star Wars: Episode VII storyline will take place 30 years after the Battle of Endor and the events portrayed in 'Return of the Jedi'" with the plot to return its focus on the original characters, namely the trio of Luke and Leia Skywalker and Han Solo who starred in the classic trilogy that aired between 1977 to 1983.
The film will be headlined by Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford and infused with supporting actors. Presently, the film is on a two-week hiatus following Ford's recent injury on set which left the actor side-lined with a broken leg.
Speaking about the film's cast, Director JJ Abrams said: "We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."
