The Walking Dead Season 5 Updates: Showcase to Hit Comic Con 2014, Show Airs in October
It was reported this week that AMC's "The Walking Dead" was filming scenes in downtown Atlanta this week, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The hotly anticipated fifth season AMC's "The Walking Dead" will air its first episodes this fall.
AMCTV.com, which features a preview tease trailer from the upcoming show says the season will return in October. This season five trailer shows characters Carol and Tyrese, who looks to be holding baby Judith, running from a small army of walkers. The three are hiding out as the zombies make their way through a patch of woods.
For the diehard fans of the show, AMC will air it's second installment of "Inside the Walking Dead: Walker University" on July 15 at 10 p.m.
There's no word yet when The Walking Dead Season 4 is expected to appear on Netflix, but it will probably be after the full season box set debuts on August 26.
The first complete full trailer for season five is expected to be shown later this month, on July 25 at San Diego Comic Con. According to Variety.com, "The Walking Dead" showcase, which starts at 12:20p.m. in Hall H, will feature all the stars of the show.
