Here's Your Sick Note from Coach Jurgen Klinsmann so You Can Watch the U.S. vs. Germany Game
Worried about how to watch the game between the U.S. and Germany at the 2014 World Cup tomorrow? Don't be. Coach Jurgen Klinsmann from the U.S. team wrote you a sick note to get you out of the stuffy office and in front of your T.V. instead. Cough, cough. Say it with us, folks.
So snuggle into those footie PJ's and make sure you take in plenty of fluids (yes, beer counts), because you've got an excuse from the big man himself. Just make sure you call in sick first. And trust us; your boss won't mind. He'll be turning in the same note on Friday.
Just in case you're squinting on your phone, the note reads:
To whom it may concern:
Please excuse (insert name) from work on Thursday, June 26th.
I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause. The #USMNT has a critical World Cup game vs. Germany and we will need the full support of the nation if we are to advance to the next round.
By the way, you should act like a good leader and take the day off as well. Go USA!
Jurgen Klinsmann
Head Coach
U.S. Men's National Team
Thanks, Coach Klinsmann. You know just the medicine for this World Cup flu.
