The Last of Us Coming to PS4 This Summer
The Last of Us is coming to PS4 repackaged as The Last of Us Remastered.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the game will look even better than you're used to seeing. There will be higher resolution characters, better shadows and lighting and improved textures.
"We love setting challenging technical hurdles for us when working on each game - and this is no different," the blog reported. "We've been working hard on The Last of Us Remastered to release a next-gen evolution worthy of the 200+ Game of the Year awards, not to mention the acclaim and expectation of our fans."
More details about the changes will be coming in the next few months. But one thing that players can expect is exclusive commentary from the director. It will also include voice actor Troy Barker, who plays Joel, and Ashley Johnson, who plays Ellie.
Left Behind Remastered will also include the Left Behind single player expansion, reclaimed territories pack and abandoned territories multiplayer map pack.
The game can be pre-ordered and it comes with a few bonuses. There's 100 supply points to be used in Factions mode and bonus skins for Joel and Ellie. There's also increased crafting speed, healing speed, 9mm reload and rifle clip capacity for single player use.
There are three bonuses that come with preordering the game for Factions multiplayer. There's early access to Brawler Survival Skill, Loadout Points and Jeep Cap and Surgical Mask.
The PlayStation Blog will continue to regularly release updates about what else is to come.
