Angelique Boyer Remains Mum About Split From El Güero, Daniela Castro Comes to Her Defense
On a segment on "El Gordo y La Flaca," the show confirmed that though Angelique Boyer is sad about her split from El Güero, things are going better for her.
Boyer officially came back to Twitter on March 28, and she hasn't been sharing too many things from her personal life, something she kept up while being interviewed for the talk show when she was on the set of "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó."
"Things change. Circumstances are different," she said. "And there's a completely different maturity."
She didn't go into much more detail, and politely thanked the reporters without answering any questions. But her co-star Daniela Castro spoke out on her behalf, saying that her first piece of advice for Boyer was to not read any magazines or turn on the TV. Instead, she should turn off her curiosity.
"The only thing that does is contaminate you on something you know isn't true," Castro said. "At the end of the day, this type of magazine, and you know which one I'm talking about, is further deteriorating every day. It's falling deeper into its web of lies every day."
A lot has been said about the reason these two decided to break up. Everything from alleging that he abused her physically to saying that Sebastían Rulli interfered with the relationship. There were even claims that Boyer wanted to be a mother and that El Güero wanted nothing to do with that.
"It's very sad that they try to control your life, especially in a break up or something painful or a failure or a divorce, really anything" Castro added. "They control it, as though your life where a tortilla or a dough."
She believes there needs to be a law that protects celebrities from this sort of scrutiny, which is something that was recently said by model Cara Delevingne, who feels paparazzi culture is way too dangerous.
"We're human beings," Castro ended. "It's not worth destroying stories as they are doing. It doesn't seem fair."
