'Nashville' Season 2 Episode 19 Spoilers: Scarlett's Mother Visits [Video]
Juliette and Scarlett butted heads while Maddie rebelled on the latest episode of "Nashville."
In "Your Wild Life's Gonna Get You Down," Rayna's (Connie Britton) single isn't doing well on Highway 65 records, and Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) is fighting with Rayna while on tour.
Meanwhile, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) is not happy that Layla (Aubrey Peeples) agreed to marry Will (Chris Carmack), as Will is actually gay. He confronts Will about the ill-advised decision, and the two get into a big fight.
Layla's parents also don't want her to marry because they think she's too young.
Megan, Deacon's (Chip Esten) girlfriend, still has not said anything about her fling with Teddy (Eric Close).
Maddie (Lennon Stella) is hiding out at Deacon's and lying to her parents about it. She eventually gets found out, and is grounded.
Meanwhile, Juliette's tour isn't going very well, until she finally rocks out at her concert. She's upset that Avery (Jonathan Jackson), who is working with Scarlett (Clare Bowen), wasn't there to see it.
Scarlett pops some pills after having an angry encounter with Juliette. Scarlett's behavior is becoming increasingly worrisome, as she's consuming too much alcohol in addition to popping pills.
After Rayna's show, Teddy shows up to take Maddie home. Maddie throws a fit, then Rayna sees the video Maddie posted online in which she says she's Deacon's daughter. Maddie says that Rayna doesn't want anyone knowing she's Deacon's illegitimate daughter.
Jeff (Oliver Hudson) tells Gunnar that he's pretty certain Will is gay, and asks him if it's true. Gunnar denies it.
Megan tells Teddy that their fling was a mistake, and Deacon overhears.
In the end, Will and Layla get married so Will can try to convince the public that he's straight.
On the next episode, "Crazy," "Maddie's news goes viral and the media jump on it, so Rayna attempts to minimize any damage by doing an interview on 'Good Morning America.' Elsewhere, Juliette's dismal tour sales have her turning to Charlie for a favor; and Scarlett's mom visits her."
Also, on a future episode, Will's life will get even more complicated. In addition to the possibility of everyone finding out he's gay, Chris Carmack told TVLine that Layla will want his character to go on a reality TV show.
"Will is not fired up about the idea, but I won't tell you if it goes yes or no," Carmack said.
Watch the promo for "Crazy" below, which airs Wednesday, April 2 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
