Eiza González Talks 'From Dusk Till Dawn,' New Movie and Moving to Hollywood [Video]
Eiza González has been making her mark all over Hollywood lately.
Her new show, "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," just got renewed for a second season, and she has her next project, a role in "All Hail The Squash Blossom Queen" lined up. It may not have always started off easily, but she knew she had to move to Los Angeles. She knew she was missing something, and Hollywood was the answer.
"I decided I wanted something else," she said. "I felt something was missing... so eventually I packed my bags and moved to the States ... not knowing leaving my comfort zone in Mexico and leaving everything I really had.. but I started knocking on doors and trying to do auditions, and here I am."
It didn't take long for the 24-year-old to land a role on the Robert Rodriguez show on El Rey Network, and describes moving to Hollywood to the story of "Red Riding Hood and the Big Wolf," where she's the Little Red Riding Hood and Los Angeles is the wolf.
But she knew what she was getting herself into when she decided to leave home, and now she's found experiencing interesting situations, such as working with snakes.
"It was really hard," she said. "It was my first scene when I got to Austin and I wasn't that afraid of snakes... the one that goes in my mouth is CGI, but all the other ones [are real]."
She recently wrapped up Season 1 of "From Dusk Till Dawn," and she's gearing up to move to Atlanta to start shooting her new movie soon.
