Dulce María Celebrates New Album With Bikini Selfies
Dulce María shared her excitement about her upcoming album by hitting the beach.
And then, she probably spread a little more joy after she posted a bikini selfie to her Instagram account. She wears a black bathing suit, sunglasses and a hat that says she loves haters, a sentiment she echoed when she captioned her photo. She was in Puerto Vallarta, and she puckered up in one of the images.
Dulce María's new album is now available for pre-order on iTunes, and it will be available April 8.
But she was ready for the album to be released earlier in the year, according to Televisa.
"There's a time for everything," she said. "The album has been ready for several months, but there are things that are out of my control, such as strategies. If it were up to me, it would be out already. But we just need a little more patience."
She also explained that the album, which is translated into English to mean Without Borders could easily have been named Strangers. The album is influenced by many different countries and sounds from many parts of the world.
"Lagrimas" was an experimental song, but don't expect her to change her sound up.
"People have really liked it because it was a perfect merger, something different, a proposal to my fans. It was a different experience."
She also added, "I like being able to break up my pattern a bit. I wanted to show my Mexican roots. It is without a doubt the most risky part of the album. I really like the band and going to concerts. I enjoy and respect it, but I'm still pop."
