Did NBA Star Paul George Send Revealing Photos to Another Man?
Indiana Pacers All-Star small forward Paul George is in the hot seat once again following reports on Black Sports Online indictating that he sent nude pictures to person he believed to be a woman, who happened to be a man.
George, a two-time NBA All-Star and the reigning Most Improved Player of the Year, reportedly sent provocative pictures—including semi and full naked photos—to a man named Paul. George allegedly fell victim to a catfishing scam, which also victimized other athletes such as NBA player Kenyon Martin and NFL linebacker Manti Teo.
"Classic catfish scheme, the gay man who calls himself Paul allegedly sends out thirst trap pics to guys (athletes and celebrities). He pretends to be a thick white girl and the men are dumb enough to send back half naked and in some cases full naked selfies," Black Sports Online posted on Friday.
The 23-year-old All-Star has been dealing with controversies for the past couple of months. In February, several media outlets reported George of fathered a child with a Miami stripper and offered her $1 million to abort their child. At the time, he was dating the daughter of Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers and there are rumors that the two conceived a child.
"George allegedly try to pay her off to abort the child, but she declined (not a dumb a stripper). George is dating someone else of course (Doc Rivers' daughter, photos of her can be seen here), and now the stripper is taking selfies in high heels to show of her pregnancy," Black Sports Online reported.
George has been struggling with his shots over the past five games, going 27 percent from the field and 24 percent from beyond the arc. In Monday's 89-77 loss to the Chicago Bulls, he recorded 21 points but on an 8-for-22 shooting. The Pacers are 1-3 in their last four games, though they are still on top of the Eastern Conference standings with a 51-20 record.
