Kim Kardashian Finally Gets Vogue Cover, North West Makes Appearance [Video]

We were warned that it was going to happen, but it still didn't seem like a reality. Kim Kardashian finally scored a Vogue cover.

It is no doubt the result of Kanye West's campaigning, as he is also on the cover. He may be favored by Anna Wintour, but it took him a lot of effort to make this a reality. Wintour reportedly said that Kardashian was "the worst thing since socks and sandals."

Wintour allegedly didn't even want to let her attend the Met Ball, but she finally got an invite last year. And it was still awkward as Kim Kardashian was cropped out of the image that named Kanye West one of the best dressed for the evening, even though she wore a Givenchy that Wintour supposedly picked out.

The cover features the couple in wedding-ready attire. She wears a beautiful ruched wedding dress, with her engagement ring perfectly displayed. Annie Leibovitz shot the images for Vogue.

Kardashian shared the news on Twitter, saying, "This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath!"

She then posted the image to Instagram.

More details will be sure to follow, but along with the cover, Vogue published a video of the two set to "Bound 2." They traded in a motorcycle for a car, and she was very much covered up in a wedding dress.

And baby North West makes an appearance, too.

Since getting together with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian has changed her clothing and slowly gained acceptance by the fashion world.
