'Transformers: Age of Extinction' Movie Update: New Poster Shows Nicola Peltz as Cade Yeager's Daughter
A new poster for "Transformers: Age of Extinction" has been revealed, prominently featuring young newcomer Nicola Peltz. Peltz will play Cade Yeager's (Mark Walhberg) besieged daughter in the fourth film in the franchise.
The latest poster for the film features Peltz, 19, wearing a serious expression as an American flag hangs in the background. The poster is the latest in a series of "Transformers" posters that have been revealed. Another poster features the behemoth machines, and another shows a Decepticon walking down a road, leaving a trail of destroyed machines behind it.
Another poster features another new star, Chinese actress Bingbing Li, who will play Sue Yueming.
The two other posters feature Jack Reynor and Wahlberg, who is seen holding a gun. The poster was released on March 4, which was the same day the full-length trailer was released.
Recently, director Michael Bay shared footage with The Omelete, and spoke about the obstacles that Peltz and Wahlberg will face in the upcoming film. Bay mentioned that Cade will come under scrutiny by the government, as well as from "alien bounty hunters."
The footage that was recently shown shows that the bounty hunters go to Cade's farm looking to abduct his daughter using a gravitational pull. Another scene shows an ocean liner being pulled out of the water by the aliens and levitated over streets.
"Transfomers: Age of Extinction" will debut in theaters nationwide June 27, 2014.
