Prince Harry, Cressida Bonas Getting Married? Kate Middleton Offers Bonas Advice
Prince Harry has made his relationship with Cressida Bonas very public, sparking rumors that the two plan to tie the knot soon.
Bonas attended one of Prince Harry's official engagements at Wembley Arena, where he made a speech to about 12,000 students. A few days later they went to the Six Nations International Rugby Union match between England and Wales, according to Parade.
Harry, 29, and Bonas, 25, have been dating for about two years, and British bookmakers have said the odds that there's a royal engagement this year are 8 in 14.
Perhaps that's why Kate Middleton, who knows all too well how difficult the transition can be, is helping Bonas along the way.
"Kate's been brilliant with Cressida and has been giving her advice," the royal source said, according to Vanity Fair. "She likes her very much and has offered her tips on how to keep her normality. Kate's been there and done it and, while she knows Cressida won't be as talked about and followed like she was, she needs to get a real slant on what happens."
Bonas and Harry want to maintain their semi-normal lifestyle as long as possible, but she knows that things will change if and when they become engaged.
Marcia Moody, author of "Harry: A Biography," said, "Katie and Cressida aren't a natural fit, left to their own devices."
The two are very different, with Middleton being more demure.
Bonas first came into the spotlight when she played a cheerleader on "Trinity," a 2009 British television series. Still, Middleton has been kind to her. She invited Bonas to her son's christening and has tried to be helpful.
"Kate will be there for Cressida with any concerns regarding being in the public eye," Moody added.
