Kate Upton Threatens Legal Action Over Fake Nude Photos, Site Responds With More Doctored Images
Apparently, some people thought Kate Upton's Sports Illustrated images were boring and horrible.
That's why Celeb Jihad decided to doctor a photo to make the 21-year-old model appear nude. The post was titled "Kate Upton Naked Outtake from SI Swimsuit 2014," and the site explained that the models actually start off naked and that body paint is added through Photoshop.
Kate Upton's legal team immediately sent a letter threatening to sue the site if the photo wasn't taken down immediately, The Daily Mail reported. Her lawyer's were concerned that the photos were fake and airbrushed.
The site took down the fake photos and replaced it with a GIF of Upton getting out of a pool. But it seems the site does not care about being sued. On Monday the site added a new post that includes more fake nude photos, and the original post was reuploaded it.
"Kate Upton dared to threaten legal action against this site for posting a topless outtake photo from her Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue photo shoot. Of course it is absolutely absurd for Kate Upton to sue us over that topless picture...," wrote Celebrity Jihad.
The site said it was "unconcerned by her legal threats" and called the whole thing "laughable" and posted more images.
The site has also produced fake nude photos of other celebrities.
In 2011, Celebrity Jihad posted an image of a blonde topless woman laying on a bed. It was supposed to be Taylor Swift. "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?" read a headline on the site. Swift's lawyers also sent a cease-and-desist letter to the site, threatening legal action if it wasn't immediately taken down.
That also did not scare the site. Celebrity Jihad also posted a sex video that it claims stars Taylor Swift.
