Nokia Lumia 1020 Release Date, Price in China: August 15 Sale Date Reported with $650 Starting Price [Video]
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is reportedly set to debut in China in mid-Aug, less than a month following the U.S. launch.
According to WPDang, sources have claimed the latest Windows Phone 8 smartphone with 41-megapixel sensor will go on sale Aug. 15 with a starting price of 4,000 to 5,000 Yuan, or approximately $650 to $800 USD.
As WMPowerUser noted, it is unknown is the Lumia 1020 will be sold unlocked or if a mobile carrier has agreed to carry the device.

As Latinos Post reported, the Lumia 1020 launched in the U.S. on July 26 exclusively on carrier AT&T. The carrier has priced the device at $299 when signing a two-year contract.
AT&T, however, is offering a new plan known as "AT&T Next." The Lumia 1020's price with AT&T Next will be significantly lower at $33 for the next 20 months. Another advantage with AT&T Next: after the first 12 months, the Lumia 1020 owner can trade the device for a new model.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. A rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1020 also packs 2,000mAh battery.
