Katy Perry Delivers the Weather for Australian News Program, Talks About Miley Cyrus Kiss [Video]
Katy Perry recently assumed the role of weather girl on an Australian morning show, eliciting laughs with her goofy delivery.
The 29-year-old pop star acted as a guest "meteorologist" on Australia's "Sunrise" morning news show. She was given what she called a "nifty wand," and read the country's forecast for the day.
According to E! News, she gave the weather while donning a Giambattista Valli overcoat and dress, and botched a few city names during the comical report.
She called Hobart "Hogwarts," and got a little help from the show's anchors with the pronunciation of other cities.
"If you don't understand all of this, I am sure you have an app on your phone," she said as she concluded the segment.
After presenting the weather, the news crew brought out the Madame Tussauds wax figure of Perry.
The "Dark Horse" singer stared at the figure with skepticism, and poked fun at her wax persona by prodding her and pretending to stick her finger up the figure's nose.
When the anchors asked her what she thought of it, she said, "her boobs are much bigger."
She also added, "She is very strange but I like her, and I think we'll be friends."
During the sit-down interview on the program, Perry said she was taken aback by her kiss with Miley Cyrus.
"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do," Perry said, adding, "and then she, like, tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away."
"God knows where that tongue has been," Perry joked. "We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"
