'Criminal Minds' Season 9 Episode 16 Spoilers: The BAU Team Must Find a 4-Year-Old Kidnapping Victim in 'Gabby' [Video]
Now that "Criminal Minds" has returned from a brief hiatus, fans can expect to see another all-new intense episode on Wednesday.
In the upcoming episode, which is entitled "Gabby," the BAU team will uncover shocking news as the team works fast to rescue a 4-year old girl who was kidnapped in Mississippi. Presumably, the title of Episode 16 refers to the character who is actually a part of this episode, notes CarterMatt.
CBS released an official synopsis of the episode, which reads: "When a 4-year-old girl goes missing while staying with a relative in Mississippi, the BAU uncovers some startling truths as the team races to find the child and bring her to safety."
The video teaser shows a little girl being taken while her mother is shopping in a convenience store and seems to be distracted when she grabs milk. The girl was taken in the four minutes, and the team has only 24 hours to try to save her. In one scene, the girl is seen in what looks like an RV saying she wants her mother, however, things get intense during the interrogation process. "You know nothing about what it takes to be a mother," Hotch tells the mother in the promo, and then she hits him.
"The Bold and the Beautiful" actress Ashley Jones will guest stars as Kate Hoffer, the missing girl's mother. Other guest stars include Sianoa Smit-McPhee as Sue Walsh, Julia Butters playing Gabby Hoffer and Molly Culver as SSA Tia Canning, reports Hollywood Hills.
"Criminal Minds," S9E16 "Gabby," will air at a special time, after the two-hour premiere of "Survivor" on Wednesday, Feb 26 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
