Solange Fashion Style Watch: When NYFW Rolls Around, She’s the Knowles Family Star

You can't miss the patterned and brightly colored Solange Knowles on a regular basis,. But when New York Fashion Week rolls around, she's both in her element, with similarly dressed fashion lovers, and still ahead of the pack because of her expert mixing-and-matching skills that have a cool ease to them.

In the slideshow above, Beyonce's sister is dressed in a red T-shirt and cateye sunglasses, she attends the Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2014 presentation, and proves why she's such a photographed figure during fashion season.

Today, Solange Knowles attended the Noon by Noor Fall/Winter 2014 show dressed in a bejeweled short-sleeve sweater with a patterned blouse underneath, exhibiting her trademark pattern mixing. She first found out about the less-known brand when The Misshapes deejayed at the Noon by Noor show and used all her music. Today she was pictured sitting in the front row beside model Coca Rocha and Leigh Lezark.

For the Spring/Summer 2014 shows, she was kept busy by her recording schedule. But when she did make it out, she made it count. Short skirts and open-toed shoes were some of her go-tos that season. Best part of her Alexander Wang (left) getup? She was pictured wearing the tee again in January.

At the Spring/Summer 2014 Noon by Noor show, Solange wore a matching jacket-and-short set paired with a flamingo shirt. Here, she is interviewed by Elle about being a street style star. "New York City fashion and style have been around from the get-go and I've been taking notes from all of these people! I can't take any credit for people dressing like me, you know?" We respectfully disagree.

And she doesn't just play the part of showgoer. Solange has also deejayed and walked in an Alberta Ferretti show. Here she is pictured wearing Marni before heading to Milan.
