Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Update Release Date: Android 4.2.2 Came Out in October 2012, Won't Hit Handset Until November 2013?
The jury is still out on when the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will receive its taste of Android 4.2.2, but if new events are to be believed, it won't be for a long time.
According to SamMobile, which has been providing leaks about the upcoming Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.2.2 update for some time now, Android 4.2 released in October 2012, and as of July 2013, there are over 50 million Samsung customers waiting for the update.

"Android 4.2 = October 2012, July 2013 - 50M+ Customers waiting for Android 4.2. #GalaxyNoteII..." tweeted SamMobile.
There has been no confirmation from Samsung about the matter, but if some rumors circulating around the Internet are true, then the Galaxy Note 2 might not see the update until November.
Samsung's recent Q2 2013 earnings forecasts sent its shares tumbling despite selling over 20 million Galaxy S4s (making it the fastest-selling Android phone of all time) and recording a profit of $8.3 billion. This was because investors expected profits of $8.9 billion, and the 6.4 percent difference seems to be enough to convince many that Samsung's momentum is slowing down. this has led some to believe that Samsung will hold off on updating its older lineup until the newer Galaxy S4 (and later, the Galaxy Note 3) can get a newer version of Android on board, most likely Android 5.0, which is said to release in October. This way, customers will be forced to purchase newer devices if they want the latest version of Android.
We'll have to wait and see if any of this pans out the way it's being told, but in the meantime let us know your thoughts on having to wait until November for an Android 4.2.2 update if you own a Galaxy Note 2 in the comments section below.
