2014 Super Bowl Commercial Preview Update: Sneak Peak at Budweiser, H&M's and Other Ads [Videos]
Every year advertisers dish out millions of dollars for a commercial slot during the Super Bowl, one of the biggest sporting events in the world, and this year is no different.
According to Forbes, companies will pay about $4 million for each 30-second commercial in the 2014 game, which is the reason why the Super Bowl has become the most expensive advertising event across the globe.
According to Kelly O'Keefe, a professor of brand strategy at the Virginia Commonwealth University Brand Center Overall, marketers are doing a better job relaying their brand message while still making their ads entertaining.
"This year there's much more focus on brand personality: the spot has to be both interesting and funny and link back to the core assets of the brand," he said, reports USA Today. "I'm predicting a stronger Super Bowl than last year."
Here's a preview of what you can expect to see during the big game, which kicks off Sunday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 pm EST.
