'Hart of Dixie' Season 3 Episode 12 Spoilers: Annabeth Throws a Bachelorette Party [Video]
BlueBell was officially declared a historic landmark on the latest "Hart of Dixie."
In "One More Last Chance," Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Joel (Josh Cooke) search for a house. They have two options: the house rented by Aunt Winifred Wilkes, who loathes New Yorkers, or the house next door to Crickett (Brandi Burkhardt) and her husband, who sing show tunes all the time.
Meanwhile, Wade (Wilson Bethel) is enjoying dating Vivian (Lauren Bittner), but her son hates him. He enlists Zoe for help, telling her that he likes Vivian "more than I've liked anyone since a flaky New Yorker blew into town and, oh yeah, ruined my life."
George (Scott Porter) and Lynly then break up after she burns Tansy's (Mireca Monroe) hair.
Lavon (Cress Williams) works hard, with help from Annabeth (Kaitlyn Black) and the townspeople, to convince the Lt. Governor Byrd that BlueBell has historic significance. Tom's historical toilet ends up convincing the Lt. Governor to sign off on keeping BlueBell as a historic town.
Their plan was almost foiled by Shelby (Laura Bell Bundy), who lied to Brick (Tim Matheson) that she had been artificially inseminated. It turns out she had a one night stand with the Lt. Governor eight months ago, and tells him the truth. Despite that, he still signs the papers to save BlueBell from becoming annexed by Fillmore.
After Shelby tells the Lt. Governor that he is the father of her child, he tells her to move away with him so he can be in the child's life. Shelby then cuts ties with Brick and left Bluebell.
While there is a scene showing the latent chemistry that still simmers between Zoe and Wade, Joel and Zoe are still going strong. They fail to get in Aunt Winifred's good graces, but Joel compromises and agrees to live next to the show tune lovers.
In the next episode, "Should've Been a Cowboy," "Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) finally buy a house, but soon realize neither of them make enough money to fix up the place. Brick (Tim Matheson) agrees to help Zoe out but only if she can get the townspeople to lose 500 pounds collectively for Health and Wellness Month. Joel is struggling with his novel and decides to follow Wade (Wilson Bethel) around for research, but when Wade leaves Joel to alone to run the bar, Joel finds himself in some trouble. Meanwhile, Annabeth (Kaitlyn Black) struggles to mask her feelings by throwing a last-minute bachelorette party for a friend."
Check out the promo for the next episode, which airs Monday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
