'Arrow' Season 2 Episode 12 Spoilers: Green Arrow Will Train Roy, White Bronze Tiger Returns in 'Tremors' [Video]
In this week's all-new episode of "Arrow," the Green Arrow will take on the responsibility of training and mentoring Roy Harper, while Michael Jai'a White's Bronze Tiger will bare his claws once again.
Last week, viewers watched as Roy unleashed his newfound super powers after being injected with "Brother" Sebastian Blood's Mirakuru serum. After discovering his powers, he finally confided in Sin and the two set out to do the work of a vigilante. However, Roy lost control and nearly beat a serial killer to death.
In the upcoming episode, titled "Tremors," Oliver will finally take on his red-hooded protégé and help teach him how to manage and channel his rage. From the looks of promotional pics, it seems like things will start off pretty rocky at the start of their training sessions, as ScreenCrush.com notes.
A preview clip also shows that the White Bronze Tiger is hired by a stranger to acquire a mysterious item. As a result, Oliver will have to fight to stop that transaction from occurring all while training the now-super-strong Roy, reports comicbook.com.
The CW issued a press release with the official synopsis, which reads:
"Arrow (Stephen Amell) offers to train Roy (Colton Haynes) so he can learn to control his newfound super-strength. However, Roy is a rebellious student and refuses to listen unless Arrow reveals his true identity, which Oliver refuses to do.
Meanwhile, the Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White) escapes from prison and steals Malcolm's earthquake machine to sell to the highest bidder. Oliver, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) attempt to stop the transfer, but Roy gets in the way, putting everyone in danger.
Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is disbarred and spirals out of control. Moira (Susanna Thompson) is thrilled when Walter (guest star Colin Salmon) asks her to dinner, but his reason surprises her. Thea (Willa Holland) encourages her mother to ask Walter to reconcile.
Sci-fi actor Nicholas Lea will also make a guest appearance playing Mark Francis, who is described as a "close associate" of Walter Steele who "will have a crucial part in the surprising twist that Moira's life will take after her murder trial," reports Hypable.com.
Later on in the season, Stephen Amell unveiled that "The Promise," airing March 5, is the "grandest, most challenging and most difficult episode" he's filmed, during his interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio via SiriusXm 105.
"Arrow" S2E12, "Tremors," airs on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
