Kim Kardashian Reveals Khloe Avoided Having a Baby With Lamar Odom, Says 'Khloe Wasn't Trying to Get Pregnant' [Video]
Apparently, as fans of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" were sympathizing for Khloe Kardashian while she toiled with the idea of having a baby with her husband Lamar Odom, when in reality she wasn't trying to get pregnant.
The 29-year-old reality personality was purposefully skipping doctors' visits and fertility meds to avoid pregnancy, revealed her sister Kim Kardashian in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday.
According to Kim, Khloe knew that "it wasn't right" and that she was not ready to have a baby with her now estranged husband.
"For so long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloe thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant and everyone around her was," the 33-year-old new mother explained on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
"And the whole time, she wasn't trying to and she was not showing up to these doctors appointments behind our back on purpose."
Kim continued, revealing that "She knew it wasn't right and she knew she wasn't ready. So now we understand it and we understand her decisions, it's very clear."
After four years of marriage, Khloe filed for divorce from the 34-year-old NBA star following revelations of his substance abuse and infidelity, reports US Weekly.
In the past, Khloe discussed struggling with infertility both on and off camera. She was shown going to fertility specialists on her reality show and revealed that she wasn't ovulating in an episode back in September 2012. In March 2013 she told her family that she had tried to get pregnant "since I married Lamar."
But, in the June 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan UK, Khloe said she wasn't in a hurry to start a family.
"I'll have to take hormones," she said, adding "I do want to have a baby, but I don't feel the urgency to have one this very moment."
