'Hart of Dixie' Season 3 Episode 11 Spoilers: Can BlueBell be Saved? [Video]
The last episode of "Hart of Dixie" had Zoe directing a cabaret and the citizens of Bluebell trying to save their little town.
In "Star of the Show," George (Scott Porter) has a dream about his ex-girlfriend, Tansy (Mircea Monroe), and his paranoid girlfriend Lynly (Antoinette Robertson) both getting angry at him.
Then in an effort to save Bluebell from becoming part of Fillmore, George has to hang out with Tansy and her new boyfriend, a rival Fillmore lawyer by the name of Scooter. George accuses Fillmore of wanting to annex Bluebell, and Scooter admits to it, now realizing that Tansy must have spied on him.
A furious Scooter storms off while the rest get drunk, despairing that Bluebell will soon be Fillmore.
Lavon (Cress Williams) is upset about the merger, and is moping around the house in a depression. AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) decides to get Lavon out of his dejected stupor by taking charge. She summons the Belles, and they are so upset about the situation that Crickett (Brandi Burkhardt) breaks the Governor's sister's car to get her to stay in Bluebell, which gives Lavon a chance to impress her and save the town.
She wants to go to a show that Shelby (Laura Bell Bundy) is putting on, so Lavon agrees to take her.
Meanwhile, Shelby is turning Brick's (Tim Matheson) life upside down. He can't say no to her, even when he should.
Shelby needs a new director for the cabaret, and Zoe (Rachel Bilson) insists that she has the creative chops to do it. Brick suggests to Shelby that Zoe should direct in an attempt to sabotage the cabaret and get Shelby out of his life.
Zoe takes the helm and tries to direct a successful show. Joel (Josh Cooke) then tells Zoe about Brick's plan, and at first, Zoe doesn't believe him. But she realizes that Brick is right after she does a run-through of the show and realizes that it's terrible.
Zoe is angry about being duped, but puts her anger to the side in an attempt to save the cabaret, and perhaps Bluebell in the process. She offers the director's chair to Joel, who does away with all of Zoe's terrible changes.
Even though Joel took over, the show is still mediocre at best. But Shelby shows up and saves the show by doing a spectacular number in a red sequin dress.
They are then able to convince the governor's sister to have someone else visit Bluebell to decide about the fate of the merger.
On the next episode, "One More Last Chance," the residents of BlueBell will try to save their beloved town.
The synopsis reads, "In a last ditch effort to stop the merger, Lavon (Cress Williams) enlists the entire town's help to try and convince the Lt. Governor (guest star Dondre Whitfield, "Mistresses") that BlueBell should be named a historic town. Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) continue to debate where to live, but the best option lies with Zoe's relative, who does not like New Yorkers. Wade (Wilson Bethel) takes a big step in his relationship by meeting Vivian's (guest star Lauren Bittner) son, but he soon realizes he has a long way to go to win him over. Meanwhile, Lynly (guest star Antoinette Robertson) is having some trust issues with George (Scott Porter), which starts to create tension between them. Jaime King, Tim Matheson and Kaitlyn Black also star."
